The Danish Health Authority has just published a report on drug use in Denmark in 2023.

The Danish Health Authority's report on drug use among 16–44-year-olds. This age group constitutes a significant portion of Denmark’s workforce.
Cannabis remains the most widely used drug. Approximately 10% currently use cannabis.
The report also shows that the use of drugs other than cannabis is significantly increasing compared to previous years.
5.3%—roughly 1 in 20 individuals aged 16 to 44—currently use drugs such as cocaine, amphetamines, and ecstasy.

One way to reduce the risk of workplace accidents is to implement drug testing as a preventive measure. This can also reduce short-term absences, improve supply chain reliability, and enhance the quality of work.
