Customs Found 148 kg of Cannabis in a Truck
A 24-year-old charged with cannabis smuggling is appearing in court today.
The Immigration Control Unit West of South and Southern Jutland Police arrested a 24-year-old foreign man at the Frøslev border yesterday and charged him with smuggling cannabis.
The 24-year-old was pulled over for inspection by the Danish Customs Agency on Wednesday at 2:30 PM while driving a Polish-registered vehicle with a semi-trailer. The truck was driven through the Customs Agency’s truck scanner. The scan revealed that two spare wheels were filled with cannabis, containing a total of 148 kilograms. The man was subsequently arrested and charged with smuggling cannabis.
He is appearing in a preliminary hearing at the Court in Sønderborg.
